The Myth of The Manawell
The Human Kingdom of Lansing is a mostly quiet, devout kingdom. There are really only two major cities within Lansing; the capital of Howbard (which plays host to The Grand Library and its owners The Four Eyes) and the city of Delt. There are numerous other small villages and hamlets within Lansing. Lansing’s State Religion is worship of the Sun God Pelor, yet all other religions are tolerated within its borders, though holy days of other religions are not recognized. The ruler of Lansing is King Pyle IV, who has been upon the throne for coming upon 15 years, taking it when he was only 16 years old as his father, King Pyle III, lost a long battle with illness.
As it is the Human kingdom, Humans make a vast majority of the population, yet in Howbard all races are represented at least nominally. In other areas, though, especially the rural ones, non-Humans are viewed with either suspicion or amazement, as it is rare for those areas to see them.
